Appears to be well made, the silicone can withstand high temperatures, but the handles are terribly short. I've bought many kitchen items over the years, but they definitely don't seem like standard sizes to me. If you only cook in small pots, neither deep nor wide, they can work. If you use larger pans or taller pots, just make sure they don't reach as far or high into the pan. The ladle is also a bit flexible, so I wouldn't use it for thick chili or other thick soups. I'll have some use of them, but I'll buy another set that offers handles that match the length of the old nylon or wooden utensils I'm replacing. Right now I'm looking for a decent ladle that can handle thicker soups and chillies (will probably fit regular stainless steel). A glaring omission in this set is the skimmer. At least for my needs this set is not suitable - in the truest sense of the word! :)
