I bought this for my 1967 Plymouth Belvedere with a 273ci LA engine. It was a direct screw and I replaced it in about ten minutes. It supports auto choke. I read other reviews about bad swimmers etc but decided to give it a try. After a few weeks and hundreds of miles it's working great. I still have the original air filter, so with the hood open it's impossible to see that it's not the original Carter Ball & Ball carburetor. One more thing, the instructions warn that the "oil passages" need to be cleaned before installation. I have no idea what it is. Carburetors do not have oil passages. I just bolted it on with the new bottom seal that came with the package.
