Screwed a new carburetor into my 1985 Dodge 318 and it worked great! The next day I tried to start the car but it wouldn't start. After disassembling the carburetor, I found that the float was filled with gas due to soldering errors and gaskets falling apart. I was really hoping this carb would last a while, but being cheap comes at a price. I don't know how to contact anyone for possibly a new float or a possible refund. Save your time and buy the best carbohydrates!

Poor workmanship. As someone else posted, I took my time getting the float assembly out and of course a horrible soldering job. Decided to examine it now on the warm kitchen table before bolting it on and dousing it with petrol, only to track down another headache later. Worked pretty well out of the box. I needed to enrich the fluff for those WOT moments and fix some idle issues. Plenty of carburetor and displacement for lazy mud shoveling.

I bought this for my 1967 Plymouth Belvedere with a 273ci LA engine. It was a direct screw and I replaced it in about ten minutes. It supports auto choke. I read other reviews about bad swimmers etc but decided to give it a try. After a few weeks and hundreds of miles it's working great.
