Made in China, but nice, easy to assemble design. Fits together like vacuum cleaner tubes. Not sure how the ball and spring connections to the pipes will hold up over weather, so have reserved the fifth start until after a season's use. Like the design and ease of use. Can disassemble and store for winter in minutes. There are about eight pipe sections. This makes the stand very flexible, but the hammock doesn't really need rigid pipes of a solid length. If you want something that is easy to put together and break down and does not cost a lot, this is a good purchase.
