Review on 🔌 Tenda TEF1005D: 5-Port Fast Ethernet Switch with Sturdy Metal Design for Efficient Network Splitting, Plug & Play Setup, and Lifetime Protection by David Will

At first I really liked this switch. It worked right out of the box. However, I received it in December and now it is March. I work from home and I've noticed that my internet goes on and off when I answer calls. I thought it was the VPN I was on but realized it was my own internet. The two images above show how you can see the green light behind the bezel where the port LEDs are located. In another shot without light you can see that he is in the right place. It's subtle, but it's enough to affect my internet connection. The fact that I can see green lights behind the bezel where the connectors are is an indication that it's loose. I started jiggling the cables and indeed the front panel was moving causing my internet to turn on and off from the computer. If it worked properly it would be good value for money, but it's not a reliable switch. I really liked the tenda router that served me for many years, so I ordered a switch. I don't think I will order any more tenda products. Instead, I ordered a TP-Link switch and hope I have better luck with that. I gave it two stars because the internet works when the back panel is in the right position. If it didn't work at all it would be one star because you can't give zero stars.
