Spare parts too rigid

These luggage racks are too rigid. They fit my 2001 F150, but hardly move in any direction. It took me a lot of persuasion to close my hood. And when I opened it I thought I was going to break the hinge or the attachment. Went to Advance Auto and got two racks there. They work great. The soft top opens by itself and closes very easily on the go.
