Super easy to install as it should be. Do the job right and for this price you'll be bananas if you don't buy them. And backed by a one-year warranty just seals the deal.

Good product for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Easy to install. No more sticking a stick under the hood and occasionally breaking your arms when it falls! My hood rises and closes easily. What more can you ask for?

Easily fits into lift legs

I bought these for my 2001 Ford Expedition and they fit and work great. They will only be worn for a month so I don't know how long they will last my hood. So far, so good.

Spare parts too rigid

These luggage racks are too rigid. They fit my 2001 F150, but hardly move in any direction. It took me a lot of persuasion to close my hood. And when I opened it I thought I was going to break the hinge or the attachment. Went to Advance Auto and got two racks there. They work great. The soft top opens by itself and closes very easily on the go.

WILL NOT FIT 2004 F-150

Does not fit Ford F-150 as stated. A few centimeters shorter. With this setting, the hood opened only 60%. They either packed the wrong length or they are just wrong. The packaging clearly states that it is the same year and model as my son's truck. Unfortunately he's in college and by the time we got a chance to see him and I found out they wouldn't be working the return window was already closed. so i totally spent my money.

There is no gas fee. The hood just falls off. After some work I got my money back.

After sending the VIN and photos of the installation and a video showing them not holding the hood I got my money back. Proper fitting and installation was easy, but these gas springs hold my hood up no better than the worn ones I removed. Falling down like they don't exist. Avoid this brand. Maybe they were delivered by air and the pressure dropped as a result? There are no labels on the box to prevent air shipping via Usps.

A Few Dollars Prevent Injury

The other day someone opened the hood of an old exhibit and propped it up with a screwdriver, as I have often done in the past. Then I turned around and the hood stay failed its job and the hood latch fell hard on the back of my hand. That evening's maintenance call was quickly canceled.
