There is no gas fee. The hood just falls off. After some work I got my money back.

After sending the VIN and photos of the installation and a video showing them not holding the hood I got my money back. Proper fitting and installation was easy, but these gas springs hold my hood up no better than the worn ones I removed. Falling down like they don't exist. Avoid this brand. Maybe they were delivered by air and the pressure dropped as a result? There are no labels on the box to prevent air shipping via Usps.
