I have attached four images that are stills taken directly from video that is posted onto YouTube. The Vantrue X4S is an absolute upgrade from the X4.Pros:The ability to toggle the X4S activity light off, is wonderful, and no longer presents a pulsing blue light constantly while driving.The ability to set the date and time based on GPS location is Fantastic!The daytime video quality is good in the direct line of site, for about the center 50% of the screen.Speed tracking is very accurate and works flawlessly, and no longer requires the location stamp to show the speed on the recorded video.Large MicroSD capacity is wonderful, allowing for a lot of video recording, giving time to go back and review footage whenever it is convenient.Vantrue support staff are very responsive, once they get your message. I had an issue with another camera I am testing, where the GPS time was off by 30 minutes, and there was a firmware update for that camera less than 48 hours after initially reporting it.Cons:The night vision of the camera is Not great. License plates are grainy, and it is a requirement to get the plate with just the right amount of light to be able to see what the numbers say.Still at 30 FPS after all this time. 4K 60 FPS really is a necessity at this point, so that we have more opportunities to capture license plates when an event occurs.GPS mount, whether suction or 3m, is NOT included with the camera.No MicroSD cards are included with the camera. Not even a cheap 2gb to update the firmware with, or start recording.Overall Impression, the Vantrue X4S is a huge improvement over the Vantrue X4, and the next iteration can only get better. I will always suggest that the buyer immediately grab either the GPS Suction mount, or the GPS 3m permanent mount, so that they can have that GPS information that is critical in the case of a ticket or accident.
