Review on Thomas Traceable Waterproof Thermometer with Probe/Cable - Temperature Range: -50°C to 300°C by Christopher Tillman

I've been looking for a good waterproof thermometer that won't die after the first use and I found it. A bit pricey for what it is but I'm glad I have it and will continue to use it. My only complaint would be the tiny display, which can be difficult to read in low light. This and the fact that the mini suction cup on the probe appeared to melt or deform in boiling water after the first use rendered it unusable. And if there were another complaint, it would be the lack of features. For the price, it really doesn't do anything other than display the temperature. No timer, no audible high or low temperature warning, just a simple temperature display.
