Review on πŸ”₯ Ultimate Grilling Companion: Char-Broil Multisensory Wireless Thermometer by Lorena Grant

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent for Rib Roast

Works well with large cuts of meat like roast ribs, but not so well with small cuts. The probe is approximately 5" long, and for the coldest and hottest functions to work, the probe's cold mark (near the center) must be closer to the center of the meat. Standard temperatures for general "meat" appear too high or very "done"; but the customizable timing feature allows you to adjust the temperature of the "done" alarm according to your preferred rarity. The thin metalized USB cable from the meat probe (in the oven) to the transmitter unit works well - very flexible and doesn't interfere with the door seals. Haven't tried it on an open grill but looks like it will work too. The display is easy to read, but it takes a few "uses" to navigate properly.
