Review on Enhanced Low Friction Dust 🚵 Wiper Kit for Fox Racing Shox 32mm by Gerard Hudson

They don't fit my 2006 F80X. They are, as others have pointed out on the old 32mm forks, too narrow. The Fox service manual says they should go in with a thumbs up. Fox makes a tool to install them, a fancy piece that can be replaced with PVC pipe or something to apply even pressure. I used old gaskets as a driver for even pressure. It didn't help. They're so tight they can't even slide into 32mm holes. The holes, not by accident, have been lightly sanded and cleaned of all the old gasket material. They were pure metal, then oiled, then slippery honey. Nothing worked. The seals began to deform when pressed. I gave up. Even blows with consistent force on the seal could not introduce them. It might work if you have a factory press. I give up and go to SKF. Waste of money trying to stay with Fox. It shouldn't be that hard.
