Perfect for keeping my dogs in the back from jumping in the front seats on long drives. I toss my wallet and maybe a snack in my bag and I'm ready to go. It's strong enough to withstand multiple attempts by a 20-pound dog to punch through the front seats. The big surprise was how useful it is for swimming. I use it as a portable "bag" to keep my navigation, phone, safety gear, etc. handy and safe in the boat's open cockpit. I throw the upper guyline onto the stern pulpit and fasten it and connect the lower guyline to the stern rail. For daytime swimming, this is a central spot to drop off sunscreen, gloves and (waterproof) phones. For longer trips, it contains my navigation tablet, satellite radio and emergency horn, as well as my phone and speaker. For night duty I attach a small red flashlight. Everything is secluded but everything is in one place and easily accessible. This small bag is very useful on a sailing boat, especially for overnight stays and crossings.
