I bought this tool precisely because of its ability to scan key fob frequencies and verify its functionality. This function doesn't seem to be 100% accurate, sometimes you have to press the keys a few times to see the result. Positioning in relation to the tool also seems to play a role, but I can't figure out where to hold the keychain. Maybe it's the sampling rate. TPMS capabilities are fine after update. As it is shipped, you may find it doesn't work for your car until you update it. If you need to initiate TPMM sensor ID learning, you cannot do it with this tool alone, you also need a scanner.
