Works well, even reads sensors that local tire shops can't read. Very happy with it for the price. I just wish I knew it's a little cheaper straight from JB Tools.

I tried to register the tool but it failed, it seems the tool was previously registered. Or I got it from an unauthorized dealer. I have to say that this TPMS tool is good for this price. Another problem is that this package does not include an MXsensor. But this tool can only program Autel sensor.

I took it to replace a failed Cub Pro-101. I'm not interested in programming the sensor, my only use cases are reading the sensor and executing/retraining. Compared to other TPMS tools I've used (including the OTC 3833), this one does the job perfectly. It fires very quickly and from a greater distance than any I've used. I bought this tool precisely because of its ability to scan key fob frequencies and verify its functionality. This function doesn't seem to be 100% accurate, sometimes you have to press the keys a few times to see the result. Positioning in relation to the tool also seems to play a role, but I can't figure out where to hold the keychain. Maybe it's the sampling rate. TPMS capabilities are fine after update. Very satisfied. The TS408 is easy to use and does exactly what it promises. It was easy to get to the Autel website to register the unit and download the latest software. I do it myself I'm tired of going back to reset my TPMS after a tire change. With the TS408 I can reset the tires in about 2 minutes. Really comfortable. Purchased to reprogram the tire positions on my 2015 Buick LaCrosse. Works great, reprograms tires on the fly. You can also read the current pressure and temperature of the tire sensor. I also tried the wireless key fob that came with the car to check the signal strength. This tool was just what I needed to help me locate and replace the intermittent TPMS sensor on my 2012 Corolla. My TPMS light came on intermittently on long drives.
