Why is it specified as 100 watts? Before installing this device in the car, I wanted to test it on the stand. Using a 14V 19A DC power source, a Federal Signal BP100 speaker, measuring an 11 ohm DC resistance from a calibrated Fluke 87V meter. After turning on the yellow wire, the AC output was 2.7A at 22.3VAC. I have won. I won't go into the formulas but you can google it but the math is 60.2 watts. What does "100 watts" really refer to?
