The right one consists ONLY of the activated carbon pre-filters and is perfect for my 4800 series, comes in a nice little resealable plastic bag and is about a dollar less than other budget filters. The reason I keep buying them is because they work and fit, don't smell funny and don't do anything that some reviewers say of other brands/types. We have both the 5000 Pet Series and 4800 Series in a variety of sizes so make sure you get the right filters for your particular device, but I've bought these several times and they've never let me down. In fact, they're even better than the original GermGuardian pre-filter. Hooray!
