I wish they had with one of these clip-on ferrites
all clip-on ferrites (with one exception) (have minimal technical details. At MINIMUM they should specify (1) maximum current to saturation (where EMI filtering disappears) and (2) either the effective frequency range or the material (from which you can look at the frequency range) Yes, they're cheap compared to other sources, but it's hell if they're going to do that some good by being conducted EMI to be filtered out. As you can imagine, for my application (filtering 180-200MHz in the cable that runs the cable from the solar panels to the inverter) they didn't make a socket S.
