Doesn't work with car AV setup

I've been using double shielded thick RCA cables for my car audio system before. I didn't hear the typical buzzing feedback, more like a fast clicking feedback noise. This product did not help. I believe this product is for poorly shielded cables. However, if you already have properly shielded cables, your feedback noise is due to a different problem. However, I tried another product from Revain that really helped me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BCDQ44/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_leZNFb2DDNN88?_encod…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something else

All snap ferrites (with one exception) (have minimum specifications. You must specify at least (1) maximum current to saturation ( where the EMI filtering disappears) and (2) either the effective frequency range or the material (where you can look at the frequency range) Yes, they're cheap compared to other sources, but that sucks if they're going to do anything - this is good for filtering out conducted EMI. As you can imagine, for my application (filtering 180-200MHz in the cable that runs…

Eliminate radio interference from LED headlights.

I have a 1997 Mazda Protege DX with the radio installed. I am restoring it because it was my mother in law's car and she died about a year ago and I am going to restore it and give it away to one of the kids as I installed some hidden LED headlights with ballast after I was able to I almost only catch a few radios due to all the interference when the lights were on. I did some ferrite research and just saw bought this product and once I installed them between the LED ballasts in the headlights…

I wish they had with one of these clip-on ferrites

all clip-on ferrites (with one exception) (have minimal technical details. At MINIMUM they should specify (1) maximum current to saturation (where EMI filtering disappears) and (2) either the effective frequency range or the material (from which you can look at the frequency range) Yes, they're cheap compared to other sources, but it's hell if they're going to do that some good by being conducted EMI to be filtered out.
