I have a 1997 Mazda Protege DX with the radio installed. I am restoring it because it was my mother in law's car and she died about a year ago and I am going to restore it and give it away to one of the kids as I installed some hidden LED headlights with ballast after I was able to I almost only catch a few radios due to all the interference when the lights were on. I did some ferrite research and just saw bought this product and once I installed them between the LED ballasts in the headlights about 90% of the static was gone and I was able to pick up my radios. Since then I've bought more ferrites and installed them on my radio antenna as well as the leads coming out of my alternator and they seem to do a pretty good job of reducing the static noise you get on the radio in some cars when it's your turn the signals will flash and go off etc. orth If you have this kind of problem I think it's worth a try.
