Review on Yeswelder Argon CO2 Welding Flow Meter Gas Regulator Gauge for Mig Tig Welding by Yung Kaelin

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Look elsewhere for Gas Regulator

Some issues with this regulator: 1) Something is wrong with the threads used to attach the regulator to the bottle. Despite my best efforts to make sure I didn't mix up the threads, they didn't intertwine. The adapter has thread markings and fits well with another regulator I had screwed into my bottle. I changed the nut from a good regulator to this one to make it work. 2) At this point I noticed that the gauge read 2000psi even when it was unplugged! Damn. 3) I have a welder, yes, that came with a gas line. You would think that buying a Yeswelder regulator would blow everything up. Not so. The gas line doesn't fit the regulator, I had to cut the end of my welder and use the nipple that came with the regulator and provide my own clamp (not included). I was terribly disappointed with this purchase.

Pros
  • 1. Wide Application: Has a CGA-580 tank fitting so it screws directly into Argon, Argon/CO2 tanks. Ideal choice for MIG TIG welding, chemicals and electronics
Cons
  • Not sure
