I love the pigments in these crayons. They are rich and bright. They apply smoothly, after the top seal layer is pierced, just wipe it on the board or sandpaper a few times. Cut the straw lengthwise and wrap it around the chalk. No smelly $10 chalk holder required. The chalk stays in place and is ready to use. If you have thin straws, simply wrap the two segments of the straw around the chalk. If your chalk gets shorter, no problem, the straw doubles as an extension to make it longer. Hooray!
