Our 5 lb 9 wk mini-aussiedoodle has a long body and short legs and neck. Every other harness we've tried (quiet a few) has the understrap (from neck down to chest) far too long, and she'd always try to chew on the ripples that were created. I was nervous to get this one because the under strap isn't adjustable and I was afraid it would still be too long, but it is perfect. Her chest girth when we purchased was right at 11" and the XS on its smallest setting fit like a glove with tons of room to grow. Given the sturdy nylon and the fact that this is <$15, when all the other highly recommended harness' we looked into run >$40-50, I'd say this is a steal. Definitely will buy this brand again when she outgrows this size!Wanted to add: At 11 weeks old, we've now loosened it just a bit, but shows no signs of wear and tear, despite pup being a ferocious chewer of most things (if only our leashes held up this well.)
