I bought these to replace my old plastic kettle bushings. . . which urgently needs an update. It was a decent upgrade. I love the pan and temperature gauge, although it doesn't really seem to work. The lid looks very cheap. Try not to drop it on the floor, it will surely lose its nice round shape and cut a hole in the floor. It's pretty tough. Easy enough to clean as there are no heating coils in the tank. BE CAREFUL when cleaning to avoid cutting your inner upper lip. He's sharp too. He cut my sponge and fingers while cleaning. I like that it came with a coffee drop. We are tea lovers, but I like to drink coffee sometimes. Works well. Easy to clean. Suitable for most cups.
