I am very pleased with this shipping scale. Build quality is more than adequate for a small office that sends multiple packages per day. It doesn't have the robust build quality to handle heavy use, but it doesn't come at the price of heavy weight either. The weight limit is 88 pounds, which is a decent size limit for the scale. The display is connected to the scale with a cable similar to the handset cable of a landline telephone. It is flexible and durable, allowing the display to be installed in the most convenient location for viewing. The display is large and clear. I like the fact that the scale can be powered by either batteries (2 AAA cells included) or an AC adapter (also included). Batteries are included with the scale; The display unit does not require its own batteries. The scale has non-slip pads on the base that hold the scale well when stationary. It has the ability to switch from pounds to kilograms with the push of a button. It remembers the last setting when you turn it back on. There is also an easy-to-use tare function. The accuracy is very good, measured against reference weights. While not big enough or strong enough for a busy post office, it is ideal for a small office and is very good value for money.
