Good for office and school supplies

This is a portable shipping scale. Plate dimensions 7.75 x 7.75 inches. It has a stainless steel top over a plastic base. The reading screen is on a long tether so you can still read it when you put the bulky case on your plate. The reader has buttons for power, tare, and mode (lbs, kg, etc.). A bit confusing but works well and great customer support!

I had a small transport scale that served me well except for larger items. What I really like about this scale is that the display is separate from the scale so you can still get an accurate weight reading for larger items! However, this caused some confusion: the scale comes with batteries and a separate charger so you can choose what you want to use. I am very pleased with this shipping scale. Build quality is more than adequate for a small office that sends multiple packages per day. It doesn't have the robust build quality to handle heavy use, but it doesn't come at the price of heavy weight either. The weight limit is 88 pounds, which is a decent size limit for the scale.
