I usually use broth or a homemade drink because typical electrolyte drinks taste like salt-flavored water. You are uncomfortable. It's so uncomfortable because I have a bunch of bags of different brands in my closet because no one is going to drink them. I didn't expect much from HydroMATE. When I read the directions on the packaging and realized that HydroMATE had agreed on how many ounces were in their specialty water bottle, I didn't get my hopes up. I had to find a bottle of HydroMATE at Revain before I could make a pack of the drink. *Mix each pack with 32-64 ounces of water. I found 32 ounces of water to be the perfect amount. These bags are easy to open and I used my regular whisk and poured to avoid lumps. I was shocked that with 32 ounces of water, there was almost no salty taste. HydroMATE really is like a soft fruit punch. At 2.5 grams of carbs and 2.5 grams of sugar, it's a little sweeter and higher in carbs than I like to drink, but when I have a headache or am sick these little packets work great. $46 I have no idea who is buying this HydroMATE pack but at the retail price of $24.99 these are quite affordable drinks and I would order them again.
