I wanted to say a few words about this fuel pump as there was little personal information. First, the fuel pump was packed in a nice sturdy box to protect it from damage in transit. For the price of just a pump on some this is a complete downfall, just snap the fuel gauge cable in and dip into your tank, replace the ferrule, reconnect the lines and you're done. Firstly it didn't come with a new rubber seal but mine is still in good condition and my car has over 200,000 miles on it. So that shouldn't be a problem for most people. I also had to remove the plastic fitting from the old fuel pump as it didn't have one. I was surprised by this, but then again, the old one came off pretty easily. It's been working for me for a week now with no problems. I would recommend this as an affordable solution to an idle fuel pump. They are not difficult to replace. Youtube helps. JK
