Quality has decreased significantly since launch

I use this product for kitchen scraps. When I first heard about it and bought it, I was thrilled. I am a consumer striving to preserve the ecology of planet earth by any means necessary. I've been using biodegradable kitchen waste bags for years and have found that I had to fold them in two or three to avoid throwing the contents on the floor when I toss them in the bin, so I had to put two or three bags in. in my dumpster at the very beginning. When I found these bags I was thrilled. Definitely biodegradable, but strong enough to withstand half full and make it in the bin! I felt like I had found a really good company. The last time I bought them, lo and behold, they were noticeably thinner. And then came the sad truth - the bottom broke - it biodegraded in my dumpster - and the entire contents fell onto the kitchen floor. Pooh. Dirty cleaning. From now on two bags, maybe three. The pursuit of profit has taken over Bag-to-Nature and not only have they belittled the quality of their product, they have also lacked the taste to tell customers that this is now a thinner and weaker bag and that they can handle the big junk with two or even filling three is a good idea. . I still use them but it's sad.

Pros
  • Increased strength - will not leak or fall apart before hitting the curb
Cons
  • Easily torn
