Privacy and heat protection

We have a kitchen bay window that gets very hot in the afternoon. We originally bought window film for privacy as our neighbor's patio is in sight. First we made 4 window panels and I couldn't believe how much the heat was reduced. We've already done all the windows and it's wonderful. The foil can be easily attached according to the instructions. My husband used a credit card to flatten the film and it worked great.
