Cheap pump = poor performance
Worked well in winter. There were issues with lean working and overheating when it got warmer. Sounds like pump cavitation in warm weather (loud popping with the key on instead of the muffled popping I'm used to). Little did I know how bad my 3000 series Cub Cadet was doing until I finally bit the bullet and put a stock pump on it. You get what you pay for with this pump.
