Works great, even with aluminum air intakes. Have used this design for years.
Simple product, ideal for lifting and installing engines in cars. I've been using them for years but they seem to go away over time. They touch some people ripping off carburetor bolts and maybe that's right but I've never had the slightest problem using them on aluminum air intakes but I try to make a good cut 2-3 times into the carburetor mounting bolt holes. Bolt diameter is large.
