As usual with things I order from Revain, they arrived on time. He did the job exactly as advertised --- what better rating is there?

I was skeptical but it worked great. Make sure all four screws are tight, use washers if necessary. This worked much better than the lift chain. Motor 318 A, all iron. No questions!

Sturdy and well made. In the end I was too scared to raise the engine with 4 intake bolts but everyone says it actually works quite well. I am currently using it to shut off the carburetor on my old engine.

They are what they are and as I buy them to keep dirt and debris from getting into the engines I have both the outboard and outboard lying pulled out in my store. , they work very well with the added bonus of not having to hunt for nuts and washers every time I want to move them.

With this sticker it is very easy to remove an engine. While I wouldn't lie under a lifted engine, I had complete confidence in him. The tensile strength of a 1/4-20 Class 2 bolt is approximately 2300 lbs. Multiply that by 4 and you get a pretty good margin of safety. If you pull all the stages out of the manifold, you're doing something wrong.

I bolted this plate to the intake manifold on an Edelbrock Performer and easily lifted a Pontica 400ci engine with heads and 4 speed gearbox. It held the weight without flexing or showing any signs of fatigue. Highly recommended. Comes with plate only, but you can use your existing manifold/carburetor bolts with nuts/washers. Does what it should.

Simple product, ideal for lifting and installing engines in cars. I've been using them for years but they seem to go away over time. They touch some people ripping off carburetor bolts and maybe that's right but I've never had the slightest problem using them on aluminum air intakes but I try to make a good cut 2-3 times into the carburetor mounting bolt holes. Bolt diameter is large.
