Review on NGK 3785 Spark Plug - BP7ES, Set of 4 by Nestor Orbita

After only 30 hours my ultra-quiet Predator 3500 port freight generator no longer started easily. I use pure ethine free gasoline so it wasn't bad gasoline. I looked at the spark plugs and they were more charred than I think they should be after 30 hours since their service interval for a spark plug change is 100 hours. I'm biased, I like NGK, but I installed it and the generator started right away. I smeared the threads with some anti-seize and tightened it to 30-35 ft-lbs and the thing shone and ran great. I'm not saying this fork instantly turns into a hot rod or produces more ponies or more power. Rather, it is an adequate and arguably better OEM connector. The alternator produced a fair amount of black smoke when starting and again when throttling under load. The new plug smokes less than before and is mostly gray instead of black. That's all.
