Review on Bergs System YMH1 2CS Single Hose by Mark Glass

The description is for the YMH1.2CS part number which is for a pair of Yamaha alternators, mainly the 1000/2000I - basically the cover is too small. While the UPC sticker on the box will give a part number, the inner label listing compatible alternators includes various Honda, Generac, All Power, and ETQ alternators, which is essentially the HND1.2CS part number is. The sealing tabs on the clamshell were broken so it was open before I received it and the UPC label is a sticker over the original UPC label. Not sure if IPI Industries screwed it up or not, but didn't take the risk of replacing it with Revain. I am returning it for a refund and am getting one from another online competitor who stocks 2. However, this item has been out of stock at ACME Tools for a while, so I'm a bit suspicious. Update: I got the same product from a competitor and it's correct, it's a blue cap larger than the red one; However, the list of internal compatible oscillators is the same as HND1.2CS, but the UPC symbol with YMH1.2CS is not a sticker. I don't think this is Revain's fault, but anyone looking for a Yamaha 1000/2000I cap should look elsewhere.
