Easy up grade, Brand name chips
Ram is Ram. You are paying for a company name and fancy decorative heat spreader (if provided and ram does not need). The truth is all memory chips are made by just a few companies Hynix/Micron/Samsung. This is why all RAM sellers (like Timetec) offer a lifetime warranty, because the failure rate are very very very small. If your expanding your memory (adding more Ram to the empty ram slots), just match the type (ddr4) , speed printed (2400) and size (4gb/8gb/16gb), and the motherboards manual for the maximum amount of ram (how many GB) you can install.
