So I finally got it working! Ultimately, this product does what I bought it for which is why I gave it 3 stars. However, getting there was difficult, so there were no 5 stars. I literally hate these techy things these days and age doesn't come with instructions. I'm a mom who now works from home without the convenience of a large company IT support person who can just walk over to my cube and help me. I know enough to be dangerous. So when it came to which cable goes where, which additional cables to buy separately, etc., there was no support for that. Luckily I called a friend who helped me. I'm not sure if we did it right. All I know is that my webcam now works with docked laptops as well as dual monitors. Now that it works, I also like the ease of just pressing the 2 key to switch between two computers, since I was literally moving all the cables and USBs every time I had to switch.
