ok i have a computer that needs 6 fans 2 of the standard fans died and one got noisy so i decided me to get some new fans and these mounting rivets, and sometimes it was easy to install the rivet, sometimes it was difficult or they broke, then i noticed that there is more gap on one side than the other, i started To make a big gap on the side of the fan and I had no more problems as a test, I put rivets on the noisy dying fan and they worked great even with a few broken ones, I still have many that can only do a stock fan I personally have 2 installed with 4, but good to see if you have more fans or are using multiple systems
