Here’s some clarification for the mixed reviews on if these are blackout or not-I’ve had blackout curtains that were actually black and now these, white ones, because I changed my room decor.If you want a completely pitch black room, buy BLACK ones (also bought on amazon). I personally didn’t like how dark my room got with the black ones.If you do not mind a bit of light coming through due to the curtains being white, these will do. It’s not bright by any means, but the fabric isn’t that thick to block the light completely, and because it’s also white.Hope this helps clarify blackout curtains. So, they aren’t completely blackout since they are white and white fabric doesn’t usually allow for that. But they do a really good job. If you want completely blackout you need to get a dark color curtain! Just the science behind it!The pictures show the amount of light that comes in during the morning.
