Review on SteelSeries Prime Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Adam Kotula ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

And so, I chose between G Pro X Superlight and Steelseries Prime Wireless, I chose Steelseries Prime Wireless as a result, I don’t regret a bit, I got more than I expected. I have a brush size of 20 cm and the mouse fits into it like a glove, but there is a slight nuance, due to the rounding of the lower edges of the mouse when holding the mouse tightly and with wrist movements, the mouse can slightly run into the brush at the bottom of the thumb (for some it may be critical, keep this in mind), but somehow I already adapted so that this would not happen. Now a little about the mouse charge and the backlight (I checked it only at maximum backlight brightness): 1 - with active backlight (constant), the mouse holds a charge for about a day of active use 2 - with smart backlight (does not shine when you move the mouse), the charge lasts about 2 - 3 days, again of active use 3 - without backlighting (must-have), the charge keeps quietly for a week. I probably won’t explain the sensor, because the sensor is top and there are no questions at all, just briefly, accurate, doesn’t break, DPI for the eyes. Another nuance, but rather strange, when you disconnect from the wireless mode (turn off the dongle) and connect via a mouse wire, if you have other SteelSeries devices (such as headphones) in the GG software, they turn off for a short time and they, this is quite strange, but it seems like not critical, because I don’t turn off the dongle, but I just use another cable to charge the mouse.

Pros
  • - Build quality (no backlash, no creaks) - Tactile, clear and pleasant clicks - A very convenient form of the mouse (but there is a nuance, below in the comment) - Nice matte plastic (coating) - Excellent sensor - Great software - Ability to ate the firmware over the air - Very nice scroll wheel lighting (surprisingly)
Cons
  • - Price (but with a discount generally excellent) - Clicks are a bit loud.
