Review on Zone Tech Car Snow Chains by Scott Welch

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Broke on first use

I liked their concept and the fact that I could install them in one go without having to complete the installation. I mistakenly thought they were easier to install than chains or cables. It turns out I was wrong. It's easier to drive forward than to install these things. There are 3 per wheel which means 6 buckles per wheel. And seat belts don't like to unbuckle because the buckles don't open wide enough. And half of the buckles broke on first use. With a run of less than 5 km. I absolutely cannot recommend them to anyone. I replaced them with a pair of automatic socks, which work better, have amazing support, and are easier to put on and take off. After using Autosocks once, I immediately bought a second pair for my wife's car. But these things, never again.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Will do
