Review on 🚴 LEZYNE ABS-1 Pro Chuck Bicycle Valve Head: Presta & Schrader Compatible High Performance for Your Bike by James Bartels

I really like the Lezyne screw head design. Every lock/friction head I've had has worn out over time and no longer seal well (including the discontinued Lezyne ABS-2) and in general I find lock/friction levers a little frustrating to use. I prefer the more secure connection that the screw-on pump head offers, and I think the ABS-1 o-ring won't be too difficult to replace if it ever wears out. This head is great but not perfect. There seems to be slight differences between Presta valve core diameters and/or threads from different manufacturers and the tolerances for ABS-1 are a bit tight. I've encountered similar problems as others described when unscrewing the valve core after filling the tube, but only on some tubes! If you accidentally pull on cores, you can try a different brand of tubing, or maybe just replace the core with an old tubing that works well with ABS-1.
