UPGRADE TO 5 STARS! If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. So it turned out that I had to lower the printing temperature much lower than I expected. It prints way less than any other PLA I've used. That's one of the tricky things when the print areas are so big. Now I print at 200 degrees with amazing quality without any problems. Not 210, 205, 190 or 195. 200 is the best solution with no problems. OK, now that I know. I wish I had discovered this without using much of the roll on test prints. Spring. I would recommend this to anyone and encourage you to start at the bottom and work your way up if you are having trouble printing. Pictured is Slimer in action! At first glance I liked this thread. Great green color and fairly good luster. Too many settings to get the perfect first coat. This is normal as it is the same with every new thread. Then the nightmares began. Gorgeous first layer and then print hours will fail. The first time it was stuck in a teflon tube. I actually changed my time and tried again. Checked all settings and gone again. The same situation. A great first layer, and in the end it fails. I'm not sure if the diameter is inconsistent or what's causing it. The second time the filament got stuck in the feeder and the printer kept trying to push it through. I switched to one of my other PLAs and had no problems. Considering the many prints I've made over the years and my OCD with quality, I have to think something is wrong with the quality of the glowing filament. Too bad because I like the way it looks.
