This is good gear but not stable enough for me. In a bar, I often have to stretch 6 feet to shoot videos above the heads of the crowd, and this thing moves at the slightest touch. The legs are so small that they don't provide enough support and the bottom of the monopod is very, very narrow. This might be just what you need if light weight and maneuverability are what you're after, but if you want stability when fully extended, look no further than the big Sirui. I just got it and haven't tested it much, but it's much more durable and stable. 50% more weight unfortunately, but it will do the job the Manfrotto can't.
