I use this to make yogurt (in a conventional oven with only the heat lights on) and it works well. I think they could have included a decimal point in the reading, but it's a bit more accurate in Fahrenheit. As this unit is not designed to stay in the oven at the temperature most food is cooked at, the display will turn off after a short while which is a shame as I leave it a few hours while yogurt ferments ( only 116 F) and so I have to open the door to activate the thermometer again to check the temperature.
