Review on American Eagle Food Machinery Commercial by Stacy Lewis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good concept, poor execution

We use this to cut raw meat into strips. We work in tight spaces and don't have room for a special table model. I don't know of a better alternative to this machine for our purposes. The machine itself has two disadvantages. First a little note on how meat collects in places that the ridges don't cover. My main complaint is that after about two weeks of use, the bearings start leaking grease into the food. From that point it fights to the death and you can hear the camp squeal, the grease leak, the blades wiggle and you hope and pray it lasts long enough to make it profitable. Guarantors are an insulting joke. I don't care about her anymore. However, I have found that the cost of space is worth replacing the unit about every 8 months. At the time of writing this review, I'm on my third device.

Pros
  • Ball-bearing double shafts for smoother operation in canteen kitchens
Cons
  • Long waiting time
