2008 Honda Ridgeline. As a very experienced amateur mechanic I replaced this block to get rid of the apparent belt squeak (it turned out to be an alternator bearing) only to have this block shear off my car yesterday 12/31/20 what a Way to end the year. The tensioner housing cracked at the base causing the main bolt to shear off. I had to remove the alternator compressor, then the retainer housing (which separates from the cylinder block), remove the end of the sheared bolt and now just have to wait for the dealer to open tomorrow to get a new bolt from Honda. Happy New Year to all! Stay away from this PART.
