Remember this rating is correct, in a dense urban area and has not yet been tested in stressful conditions. This little radio just arrived and so far I'm impressed. The dials work great, I had no problem finding a radio station. The sound is really good. I was concerned about the sound quality from previous reviews and expected it to be rubbish; absolutely not. Of course, this isn't stereo sound, but you get clean, more than enough volume. I was able to easily switch between stations with the tuning knob. With the antenna up, these transmitters were even more visible. Flashlight high quality and powerful. There are three levels for this. Haven't tried either solar panel charging or clockwork charging yet. The crank is made of plastic which doesn't look very durable. I believe that when using it, the user should be aware and careful not to handle it too roughly to keep it intact and functional. For the price, though, it's probably okay if you're careful with it. I'll update this review once I get a chance to properly test these features. Again straight out of the box, so far so good. I am impressed. I look forward to putting this little gadget to good use.
