Review on πŸͺš Bi Metal Drilling Bit for Plastic Plywood by Mark Bennett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reasonably Priced

I needed a 6 3/8 hole saw to install an exhaust duct through four kitchen cabinets. The Koopi is a heavy machine, heavy being the emphasis, and the one I got seems round and well balanced. Practical experience: I've found that my 20v Dewalt drill is sufficient for this saw, but I wouldn't want to use anything less. The saw is awkward to use, especially up in a closet where keeping the saw parallel to the cutting surface is a problem. Using the drill sleeve to prevent the drill from rotating dangerously when the teeth get stuck in the wood was the only way to deal with it. So if the position of the saw is not quite correct, the drill clutch is engaged; when the hole saw is adjusted correctly, the teeth do their job quite well. It took a while to cut each 1/2" deep hole and my good quality Dewalt bit got pretty hot, but the saw worked fine. I've already drilled seven holes in the plywood and the saw teeth don't look too worn yet It's a pretty good tool for something I only need for a job.
