I can't speak about durability, but imagination is perfect. Another review said it didn't fit his LR Discovery II, but it fits perfectly. It looks different from his photos but the setup is perfect. As far as Gates products go, I use their pulleys and tensioners on my BMW and haven't had any problems for over 50,000 miles so I assume they will perform the same.
